Andrositol Plus

ANDROSITOL PLUS is a dietary supplement containing myo-inositol, N-acetyl-L-cysteine, vitamin E, L carnitine, L-arginine, alpha-lactalbumin, folic acid and selenium, useful to increase the intake of these nutrients in case of reduced consumption in diet or increased physiological requirement. Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis. Furthermore, selenium and vitamin E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. ANDROSITOL Plus is a SUGAR FREE product.

Which is the physiological role of each component of ANDROSITOL’ PLUS?

• Myo-Inositol: It is an essential component which is physiologically concentrated in seminal fluid. Myo-inositol is involved in spermatozoa motility and maturation processes as well as in their correct morphology. Myo-inositol also plays a key role as a second messenger of several hormones such as FSH and insulin, acting positively on the restoration of the correct reproductive and metabolic functions.
• N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine: it is characterized by its mucolytic properties which make it useful in case of sperm viscosity increase. An increased sperm fluidity is correlated with an improved spermatozoa motility. Vitamin E: it contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
• L-Carnitine: it has an important role in cell energy metabolism principally in testicles and epididymis.
• L-Arginine: it is an essential amino acid involved in cell division processes helping spermatozoa maturation.
• Alpha-lactalbumin: it is a is a milk serum protein. Alpha-lactalbumin has numerous functions on the intestine such as improving the absorption of substances as inositols and recovering intestinal function through the restoration of an optimal physiological environment.
• Folic acid: it contributes to the normal homocysteine metabolism and is involved in cell division process. Deficiencies in folic acid are related to hyperhomocysteinaemia and subfertility conditions.
• Selenium: it supports normal spermatogenesis.

How to take ANDROSITOL Plus?

It is recommended to take one sachet per day, preferably far from meals. Dissolve contents in a glass of water (200 ml).
